An internal resistor divider sets the VTT DDR termination supply and VTTR reference voltages equal to half the voltage applied to the input, with output current capability of ±6A (sinking/sourcing) at VTT and ±10mA at VTTR. The outputs are capable of operation down to 0.5V. The device operates from an input voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V and allows switching frequencies as high as 4MHz, allowing for very small externals. This creates a small, compact solution footprint that is preferred for laptop computers and graphics card applications, which need ±6A or less for DDR termination. The internal synchronous top and bottom power switches have an RDS(ON) of only 35mOhm and 25mOhm respectively, enabling the LTC3617 to attain efficiencies as high as 93%, eliminating the need for an external catch diode while minimizing external component count and board space.

The LTC2145 family includes two-channel simultaneous sampling, parallel output ADCs, offering a choice of full-rate CMOS, or double data rate (DDR) CMOS or DDR LVDS digital outputs with programmable digital output timing, programmable LVDS output current and optional LVDS output termination. At 25Msps the 14-bit and 12-bit versions of the LTC2140 consume just 24mW per channel, while the 125Msps LTC2145 consumes only 95mW per channel. This high voltage dual output synchronous step-down DC/DC controller draws only 50µA when one output is active and 60µA when both outputs are enabled. The 4V to 60V input supply range is designed to protect against high voltage transients, continue operation during automotive cold crank and cover a broad range of input sources and battery chemistries. Each output can be set from 0.8V to 24V at output currents up to 20 amps with efficiencies as high as 95%, making the LTC3890/-1 well suited for 12V or 24V automotive, heavy equipment, industrial control, robotics and telecom applications. These H- and MP-grade versions are guaranteed over operating junction temperatures from -40°C to 150°C and -55°C to 150°C, respectively.

The LT3690 operates within a VIN range of 3.9V to 36V, and offers transient protection to 60V, making it well suited for load dump and cold-crank conditions found in automotive applications. The LT3690's Burst Mode® operation requires only 70uA of quiescent current, ideal for applications such as automotive or telecom systems, which demand always-on operation and optimum battery life. Switching frequency is user-programmable from 170kHz to 1.5MHz, enabling the designer to optimize efficiency while avoiding critical noise-sensitive frequency bands.
